Hanoi International Queer Film Week is the biggest and only legally permitted international LGBTQ film festival in Vietnam, and a proud member of the Asia Pacific Queer Film Festival Alliance (APQFFA).
FESTIVAL PROGRAMME
Over the years, HIQFW has become a significant Queer event in Vietnam, fostering greater awareness and understanding of LGBTQ issues and contributing to the country's growing acceptance of diversity. The Hanoi International Queer Film Week (HIQFW) has successfully completed three seasons in Hanoi.

QUEER NEW WAVE AWARD 2019
The Queer New Wave Award is the official award of the Hanoi International Queer Film Week. First introduced in 2019, the award recognizes outstanding achievements in queer cinema. In its inaugural season, six awards were presented.
